NSWPSSA 2021 Swimming Championships order of events (pdf 54kb)
Public Health Alert – stay at home restrictions
New stay at home restrictions were released on Monday 29 March and will apply immediately to anyone who visited Greater Brisbane since Saturday 20 March regardless of their current location.
If a person has returned from Greater Brisbane, which includes Brisbane, Logan, Moreton Bay, Ipswich and Redland Local Government Areas since 20 March 2021 must comply with the Stay at Home Order consistent with those living in identified areas in QLD until 5 pm Thursday 1 April 2021. This means they cannot attend work or come to school for this period.
In addition, a number of locations in NSW have been identified to be associated with a COVID-19 case. NSW Health urges everyone in NSW, especially in the Byron Bay area, with even the mildest symptoms, such as headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat or runny nose, to come forward immediately for testing, then isolate until they receive a negative result. Find your nearest clinic or contact your GP.
Please monitor the NSW Health website for locations of concern over the coming days as changes may be made with new sites and locations added.
Please be advised that spectator numbers for the 2021 NSW Primary Schools Sports Association Swimming Championships at SOPAC remain as 1 adult spectator per competitor.
The Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre is an indoor venue and as per the updated NSW Public Health Orders the number of people within an indoor venue must be maintained at 1 person per 2 square metres and a maximum capacity of 3000.
Your cooperation regarding this is much appreciated.
