Nominations:
Schools may send as many entries as they wish.
Players will need to have a current handicap to enter.
Evidence of handicap (Golflink number) will be required on the day.

Attire:
Appropriate golf apparel must be worn by all students.
Cost:
Nil - Green fees are being covered by North West SSA.
Lunch:
The club snack bar will operate for players, parents and visitors.
Regional team:
The trials will be an 18 hole Individual Stroke Event.
A North West team of up to 8 players will be selected and announced at the end of the day's play. To qualify for the State Championships players must shoot a scratch score within 40 strokes of par for the course. The team will compete at the NSWPSSA State Championships to be held from 5 - 7 September 2022 at Moorebank and Barden Ridge.
Eligibility and rules for regional teams at State Championships:
- To be eligible to compete in the regional teams event at the State Championships, at least one player must be a girl. If no girls are nominated, a team will be selected, but players will only be eligible for the individual event.
- Rules as per NSWPSSA Handbook. All players are required to check the local course rules/conditions that are posted outside the pro shop
- No Caddy, No Coaching rule applies. A walker is assigned to every group to assist with rules and organisation
- All players must attend a primary school in New South Wales
- All players must have a current Golf Link Number.
State Championship
5 - 7 September 2022 at Moorebank and Barden Ridge.
Selection:
Students selected in the North West team will compete in the NSWPSSA State Championships from Moday 5 September 2022 to Wednesday 7 September 2022 at Moorebank and Barden Ridge. Students must be available to play on all three (3) days of the championship. Students selected in the North West team will be expected to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Important information to consider:
All students attending these trials must be willing to represent North West SSA at the State Championships. Before attending trials, students should consider the following in relation to the dates of the State Championships:
- School exam dates
- School excursions
- School assessment task dates
- Family holiday dates
- Potential clashes with other commitments. For example: Sporting finals
Estimated costs associated with attending these Championships. You might need to consider:
- Player levy
- Private travel to and from the Championships
- Accommodation costs
- Time off work for parents
- Spending money.
A suspension may be applied by the Executive of the North West SSA to any student who withdraws from a North West team without satisfactory reason.
Note: Any student who feels that they may not be able to represent due to financial reasons, should speak to their school principal and/or the North West Regional Sports Organiser before the trials.
