2020 entry to Primary diving will be by nomination only.

There will be no competition conducted unless there are more than 3 divers nominated in any one specific age/gender division. 

If a competition is necessary, all nominees will be notified.

Schools are to nominate experienced divers who can fulfil all requirements of their respective age group.

Springboard Boys & Girls Primary 8 Yrs

Springboard Boys & Girls Primary 9 Yrs

Springboard Boys & Girls Primary 10 Yrs

Springboard Boys & Girls Primary 11 Yrs

Springboard Boys & Girls Primary 12 / 13 Yrs

Platform Primary Open

*Age is determined by the age turned during the current calendar year.

 

Dive Requirements:

Springboard:

8/9 Years Boys and Girls - 3 dives

1 dive at 1.5 degree of difficulty or less

2 dives with no limit on degree of difficulty

 

10/11 Years Boys and Girls - 3 dives

1 dive at 1.6 degree of difficulty or less

2 dives from 2 groups with no limit on degree of difficulty

PLUS 1 dive to fulfil requirements for School Sport Australia Championships Games (if nominating for selection)

2 dives from 2 groups @ 3.6 degree of difficulty or less and
2 dives from 2 groups with no limit on degree of difficulty

 

12/13 Years Boys and Girls - 4 dives
2 dives from 2 groups @ 3.6 degree of difficulty or less
2 dives with no limit on degree of difficulty

PLUS 1 dive to fulfil requirements for School Sport Australia Championships Games (if nominating for selection)

3 dives from 3 groups @ 5.4 degree of difficulty or less and
2 dives from 2 groups with no limit on degree of difficulty

 

Dives may be performed from either the 1m and/or the 3m springboard

 

Platform:

Open - 3 dives
1 dive @ 1.6 degree of difficulty limit
2 dives with no limit on degree of difficulty

PLUS 1 dive to fulfil requirements for School Sport Australia Championships Games (if nominating for selection)

2 dives from 2 groups @ 3.6 degree of difficulty or less and
2 dives from 2 groups with no limit on degree of difficulty


Dives may be performed from 5m platform only.

 

Three entrants per event may be selected to represent Sydney West at the NSWPSSA Diving State Championships will be held 6 April 2020, Sydney Aquatic Centre, Sydney Olympic Park.

 

This competition will also be the trial for School Sport Australia Diving Championships to be held in Brisbane.
