Secondary teachers, ideally those teaching Physical Activity and Sport Studies (PASS) or Sport Lifestyle and Recreation (SLR), are invited to take on the role of host manager once their school has committed to the PSC Sport Leadership program.

The first responsibility of a host manager is to apply for the LwA and/or L2L grants. If successful with the application/s, workshop planning and delivery are followed by funds acquittal. Refer to the Grant application process table for a guide to timeframes and important dates.

Two days teacher relief (not inclusive of GST) is provided for:

  • negotiating LwA workshop (and backup) date with Sport Learning Community schools
  • contacting relevant sports associations to confirm availability to attend workshop
  • booking venue
  • arranging transport (if applicable) for attending schools
  • organising catering for attending staff and development officers
  • providing sign on sheet for attending staff to complete
  • providing all costs and sign on sheet to host school SAM for grant reimbursement
  • completing online LWA grant acquittal.

 

One day teacher relief (not inclusive of GST) is provided for:

  • contacting partner primary schools to negotiate L2L workshop (and backup) date
  • booking venue
  • arranging transport (if applicable) for attending schools
  • organising catering for attending staff
  • providing sign on sheet for staff to complete
  • providing all costs and receipts to host school SAM for grant reimbursement
  • completing online L2L grant acquittal.
