Paul Faulkner - Bedgerabong Public School

Paul Faulkner is the principal of Bedgerabong Public School in Western NSW, and has held the title of Sports Organiser since joining the school. Paul began his teaching career in Sydney South West at Glenfield Public School, and it was there where he began as a school sports organiser. From there he moved to Corinella PS, before finally making his way to Bedgerabong PS.

Paul’s involvement, expertise and commitment to school sport is evident at school, District and Regional levels. Paul has made significant contributions to school sport and the benefits for his students are extensive by promoting the enjoyment of sport for all students.

In addition to his usual duties as a school sports organiser by managing weekly sporting activities, Paul has organised numerous school swimming, athletics, and cross country carnivals. Furthermore, Paul is the President of the Forbes Small Schools Association and is greatly involved in all of their sporting programs including swimming, athletics, rugby league, football and touch. 

Paul is also the current President of the Lachlan PSSA District. He has managed and organised Lachlan District swimming, athletics, cross country carnivals and coached Lachlan District rugby league teams. Paul is always present as an official at Western sporting events and he has managed Western swimming, athletics, cross country and rugby league teams. Paul has also successfully organised PSSA AFL and PSSA Boys Touch Championships.

Paul is a highly valued member of Western School Sports Association Executive in his distinguished role as Primary Vice president and a Life Member of Western School Sports Association.
