With Term 4 already well underway I’m sure everyone is very busy with reports, end of year activities and planning for 2019. The November eNewsletter as always is packed with information and opportunities. In other news:
Over 3,000 teachers have participated in School Sport Unit Teacher Professional Learning activities this year and plans for the 2019 workshops are well underway.
A new school fundraising concept is being trialled by Athletics Australia and partnered by the NSW Premier's Sporting Challenge with the RunWest fun runs to be held on for 31 March 2019 - have look and see if your school community can get involved.
2018 Sport Organiser / Coordinator survey - help us provide bigger and better support in 2019.
Finally, a special thank you to all NSWPSSA and NSWCHS zone, region and state conveners, coaches and managers who have taken on these extra tasks in 2018 and congratulations on the tremendous opportunities you provide the students.

Paul McSweeney - Cowan PS
Paul McSweeney is the Principal of Cowan Public School, a small school providing quality education for students from Sydney North. Paul has been actively involved in school sport throughout his career. He currently balances the role of Principal with the role of Sports Coordinator and has successfully planned, organised and managed many school sport programs.

Building skills as a sport organiser is a series of 5 separate online courses (total of 22 hours) aiming to build teacher knowledge and skills to deliver quality and safe school sport programs.
