A very difficult time for many of you and our colleagues, friends and families around the state dealing with catastrophic weather conditions. I wish to acknowledge the selfless dedication of staff to ensure opportunities for our students around the state during these times.
With Term 4 already well underway I’m sure everyone is very busy with reports, end of year activities and planning for 2020. The November eNewsletter as always is packed with information and opportunities.
Over 3,000 teachers have participated in School Sport Unit Teacher Professional Learning activities this year and plans for the 2020 workshops are well underway which will feature some exciting developments.
Finally, a special thank you to all NSWPSSA and NSWCHS zone, region and state conveners, coaches and managers who have taken on these extra tasks in 2019 and congratulations on the tremendous opportunities you provide the students.
Peter Banks - Leader, School Sport Unit

Please note that there was an error with our distribution of the PSC Student Medals and some SSP, Central and Community schools did not receive 2 medals. All other Public Schools should have received 1 PSC Student Medal. Some medals were sent to the Principal, and others were sent to the Sports Organiser. If you believe your school has not received your medal/s please email us on psc@det.nsw.edu.au. For more information on this medal go to our PSC Awards and Recognition page.
