School Sport Unit

To subscribe to an event you must first have created a profile/log in.

Users are now able to subscribe to a single event or multiple events at one time through the calendar and events list.

Once you have subscribed to an event you will be able to receive email notifications on any updates that occur in those events. They may include:

• an update to the event - a change of venue, or a draw has been uploaded,
• results have been added such as a selected team,
• postponement or cancellation of the event.

How to subscribe to an event:

Currently you can subscribe to an event through the calendar, 'find events' list and 'my subscribed events'.

Through the calendar

1. Log in
2. Go to 'Calendar of events' on the School Sport home page or via the relevant association/program pages.
3. Use the filter (Filter the events list by the association, program, sports, event type, and/or term)
   
   1. This calendar will filter automatically as you fill it in
4. Select the desired event to open a quick information pop up box with key event details and select 'Subscribe to this event' or click the 'Subscribe to multiple events' button to subscribe to all events from your filter selection. 
   
   1. The event/s will then be in your subscribed events and you will receive email notifications of any event updates

Through the 'Events list'

1. Log in
2. Go to 'Find events' on the School Sport, Sport associations or Regional or State level home page
3. Use the blue Filter (Filter the events list by the association, program, sports, event type, and/or term) by clicking on it to expand
   
   1. This list will filter automatically as you fill it in
   2. To view your subscribed events only, click the check box to the left of 'subscribed' in the filter section
4. Select the subscribe icon (on the far right hand side of the event) to subscribe to an individual event, or the 'Subscribe to multiple events' button to subscribe to all events from your filter selection. 
   
   1. The event/s will then be in your subscribed events and you will receive email notifications of any event updates
   2. Once you have subscribed to an event/s the subscribe icon will be light grey 

Through 'my subscribed events'

1. Log in
2. Go to 'My subscribed events' on the School Sport, Sport associations or Regional or State level home page
3. Use the blue Filter (Filter the events list by the association, program, sports, event type, and/or term)
   1. The list will only show the list of events you have subscribed to
   2. To view other events, click the check box to the left of 'subscribed' in the filter
4. Select the subscribe icon (on the far right hand side of the event) to subscribe to an event or the 'Subscribe to multiple events' button to subscribe to all events from your filter selection. 
   1. The event/s will then be in your subscribed events and you will receive email notifications of any event updates
   2. Once you have subscribed to an event/s the subscribe icon will be light grey
