10 week Challenge (10wC)
All students and staff who complete the 10 week Challenge are eligible to receive a personalised A4 end-of-challenge certificate signed by the Premier of NSW.
For assistance in award submissions please use the Submitting final awards in the PSC Tracker guide (PDF 1000KB).
Schools/teachers have a choice to allocate a class award (based on an average of the class's achievements) so that all students in the group will receive the same award level, or allocated individual award levels to recognise individual student achievement. This can be decided on a class by class basis.
Award certificates reflect the average daily activity time of students over the 10 week Challenge as recorded through the PSC Tracker.
The 60 minute a day benchmark recommended by the Australian Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines has been used to determine the challenge award levels of Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond.
Bronze | 30 minutes of physical activity per day |
---|---|
Silver | 45 minutes of physical activity per day |
Gold | 60 minutes of physical activity per day |
Diamond | 80 minutes of physical activity per day |
Schools/teachers can opt in to receive the end of challenge certificates which are distributed during Term 4 once schools are 'fully submitted' (have all their award data entered) in the PSC Tracker..
