Primary
The primary school state knockout competition for NSW public schools is managed by the NSW Primary Schools Sports Association (NSWPSSA). Entries, draws and results are managed by the NSWPSSA Knockout Website*.
Secondary
The secondary school state knockout competition for NSW public schools in Sydney East is coordinated through the School Sport Unit.

2023 Sydney East Knockout Draw
At the 2022 Sydney East Schools Sports Association Council and Annual General meetings Council members voted not to conduct NSWCHSSA state-wide competitions (knockouts) at the Association level.
As a result of this decision the progression of school teams from Sydney East within this competition will be centrally managed by the School Sport Unit for 2023.

Please be advised that the competitions will run on a home and away basis in accordance with the advertised play by dates not central venue days.
A full review of state-wide competitions including delivery is planned for 2023.
The Sydney East Schools Sports Association draws and results of the NSWCHS state wide competitions are available through the School Sport DashApp*.
Regional finalists progress to the state knockout finals series for each sport. These are managed by the NSW Combined High Schools Sports Association (NSWCHSSA).
